Still privately owned and operated by family descendants, The Gardens is a National Historic Site of Canada. Open every day of the year, welcoming over one million visitors annually. With something in every season, highlights include the spring display of over 300 thousand flowering bulbs of tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, and more. In summer the Rose Garden showcases over 250 varieties of roses. July and August, visitors enjoy Evening Entertainment every night of the week, and Fireworks on Saturday nights. In summer enjoy eco-friendly Boat Tours and Night Illuminations. Autumn is marked by golds, yellows, and auburn shades, with the Japanese Garden a showstopper! The Magic of Christmas, December 1 – January 6, transforms The Gardens into a wonderland of lights, with seasonal music, an outdoor ice rink, and the 12 Days of Christmas display throughout. Year round, the Rose Carousel, Afternoon Tea, Coffee Shop and Gift Store are open. Seasonally, additional food services are available in the Dining Room and Blue Poppy Restaurants.
